Looking On
A shot of my dog Abby gazing out across the river in historic Fort Langley. I just loved how the sun was hitting her and how she contrasted the tall green grass. It's rare when I can make her sit still and get a good shot of her.

A portrait shot from the first wedding I have ever photographed.I was really nervous about doing this and I was on a mission to get photos that looked natural and not too "staged". Fortunately, they were really good sports about posing for the camera while I fiddled with all my settings trying to figure out what would work best.

A photo from the wedding of my good friends Art and Tina. It was a candid moment that I felt just looked so much more powerful in black and white.

This row of park benches was captured one afternoon in Fort Langley (along the Fort to Fort trail). The shot just feels kind of relaxing don't you think?

Hands down. This is one of my most favorite portrait shots. The kids looked totally natural and the light was hitting them just right. This was right before dinner during a camping trip in Oregon (summer 07).

This little Boston Terrier is named Marley. I shot him while he was camping with us in Oregon last summer (07). He has a face that just makes you want to laugh.

This shot was taken one evening during a summer sunset on Sheridan Lake. My friends Art and Tina posed for the shot to add a little romance.

If there is one thing my dog likes to do, it's nap. This is a shot of Abby on vacation at a cabin in the Cariboo. When she wasn't doing this she was jumping in the lake.
